Aurora Lodge is a perfect choice for large groups or families who want to have space, privacy and all the comforts of home, at an affordable rate.

Located just below the 'lower olympic' run on whistler mountain, in the peaceful residential neighbourhood of Brio, the house offers all the amenities you would expect from a hotel, with the added bonus of the privacy and personal touch of a local's home.

All the bedrooms are furnished with luxury bed linen and beautiful pieces of art from local, Mark Richards. Each bedroom has a dedicated bathroom with local organic soap and plenty of towels (hot-tub and inside towels).

Our fully equipped kitchens are set up so that you can easily prepare meals for the entire group, or take advantage of the 2 separate kitchens to have a little separation if you are multiple families! We provide organic spices, oils and all cleaning supplies, so you will not be caught out when cooking!

Choose to gather the whole group in the main living room to enjoy the view and the cozy gas fire together - or part of the group can escape to the hot-tub which is always ready and conveniently located on the covered deck.

Plenty of parking, a sizeable mud-room & a laundry centre all help to make sure that your group doesn't have to feel crowded at any stage of the stay.

Accomplished skiers can actually ski right out to our front door through the woods (black run tree skiers only!). For the rest of us, the house is only 15 mins walk or 2 mins drive from the whistler village gondola!

All of our bathrooms are equipped with shower dispensers with organic shampoo, conditioner and shower gel (Rocky Mountain Soap Co.). We provide two plush white towel sets per bathroom (x2 bath towels, a hand towel & face cloth) as well as toilet rolls (look under the sink!).

Booking Policies

To reserve your dates, a 50% initial payment is required to block off the calendar. The rest is due 60 days prior to arrival.

The damage deposit is 'held' on your card the day you arrive, and released when you leave. 

No refunds for cancelled bookings.

House Rules

  • No noise after 10pm - this is a Whistler by-law. Our house is located in a peaceful residential neighbourhood

  • Parties/events not allowed - speak to us about your plans before booking

  • Min. age of primary renter: 25 years

  • No smoking

  • Max. occupancy: 6




The house is located at 3333 Panorama Ridge. We are about 5 minutes drive from Whistler Village and the lifts.

If you have a vehicle you can park for free at our house (maximum 6 vehicles) and you can park in the village day-lots (1-5) from $10 per day or the Blackcomb mountain day lots (6,7 & 8) for free.

If you don't have a vehicle, taxis are one of the easiest methods to get around - you can get a 6-seater taxi to or from the village for about $15. Whistler has a "whistler taxi" app that is very easy to use as you can program your journey and pre-book transport.

The walk to Whistler Village is about 15 minutes - you can walk on a pedestrianized valley trail almost all the way.
